Students of the Competition Team of WDP Germany took part at the 26th German Wushu Championships in Germany and rocked: 3x Gold and 1x Bronze. The secret is quality, its dedication... its faith... its destiny... nothing else.
Baoting is the perfect place, if you want a chilled day-off-from the Academy, relax and have some good food without meeting crowds of people. Though it is the administrative centre of the county our school belongs to, the city combines a very relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful city square and some nice places to have good Chinese food. It is also a good place to buy clothes or accesoires of the local Li- and Miao-people. And watch out: They even seem to have Rap battles here!
To reach the city you just need to hop on one of the busses leaving about every 15 min from San Dao near our Academy. The journey is about 7-10 RMB for one ride and takes approximately one hour.
Wushu – yi jia! - ONE big martial arts family!
This week our Academy was visited by Chen Master Ting Xiao He and Mr. Xi Pin Hui from Sanya Wushu Association. Ting Xiao He, Xi Pin Hui and our students all showed some of their skills, before we sat together to talk and exchange thoughts and experiences.
Although it might sometimes be difficult to find the right words in each others language, the joint love for martial arts gives an easy way to communicate.
